October 21, 2022 · Inspiration

Do you know someone who always seems to be positive, upbeat, and happy? People love being around them because they’re the life of the party, and they make people feel good about themselves. This is what we call a “bubbly personality.”

If you’re not naturally bubbly, don’t worry – it’s definitely something that can be learned. Over the years, I’ve picked up a few tips and tricks for how to infuse my personality with more positivity, enthusiasm, and joy. I’m in a constant state of bettering myself, and I hope you’ll join me on this journey to becoming a more positive person.

1. Work on being more positive

Having a bubbly personality all starts with positivity. You need to believe in yourself and your ability to make things happen. When you walk into a room, radiate positive energy. Smile at people, make eye contact, and let your positive attitude shine through. Work on looking for the silver lining in every situation, no matter how bad it seems. I also have an awesome free positivity workbook that can help kickstart this journey! Check out these positivity blogs for inspiration as well.

2. Be passionate

Bubbly people are passionate about life. They’re excited about what they’re doing and where they’re going. They have a zest for life that’s contagious. If you want to be more bubbly, find something you’re passionate about and pour yourself into it. Whether it’s a hobby, a cause, or your career, let your passion shine through. The more passionate you are, the more bubbly your personality will be. When you’re talking about your passions with enthusiasm, others will recognize and appreciate your positivity.

3. Be more outgoing and social

This may be easier said than done, especially if you’re an introvert. Those with bubbly personalities typically love meeting new people and striking up a conversation. Try your best to be more social. Go to events and meetups, introduce yourself to new people, and make an effort to get to know the people around you. The more people you meet, the easier it will be to be bubbly and outgoing. It’s also important to take a genuine interest in the people you meet. Of course, you can still have a bubbly personality as a shy introvert. It’s all about how you project yourself to the outside world.

4. Be fun and go with the flow

Bubbly people are just plain fun to be around. They’re always up for a good time, and they know how to have fun no matter what they’re doing. If you want to be more bubbly, start by infusing your life with more fun. Do things that make you happy, and make sure you’re taking time to enjoy your life. The more fun you have, the more bubbly your personality will be. Whenever possible, try to go with the flow. This doesn’t mean doing things that you’re not comfortable with! Be confident and stick up for yourself when needed. But, remember it’s okay to relinquish control and go along for the ride sometimes.

5. Be genuine and authentic

Focus on being genuine in your interactions with others. Be yourself, and don’t try to be someone you’re not. People will appreciate your authenticity, and it will make you more likeable and fun to be around. If you’re working on developing a bubblier personality, try your best to make it a genuine part of yourself rather than a mask or façade.

6. Take an interest in others

Bubbly people are interested in others. They care about what’s going on in other people’s lives, and they’re always looking for ways to help out and make a difference. If you want to be more outgoing, start by taking an interest in the people around you. Ask them about their lives, their work, their families, and their interests. Show them that you care, and be there for them when they need you. Remembering small details and bringing them up at a later time will show people how much you care about them and help develop deeper relationships.

7. Be encouraging and supportive

Bubbly personalities know the power of positive words, and they’re not afraid to use them. Compliment people, build them up, and make them feel good about themselves. A few kind words can go a long way, and they’ll make you more bubbly in the process. People appreciate words of support and encouragement when they’re needed, so don’t be afraid to offer them freely.

8. Practice gratitude

I know I talk about gratitude a lot, but it’s such an important part of a positive lifestyle. If you want to work on your “bubbliness”, start by practicing gratitude each day. Take a few minutes to think about the things you’re thankful for. It could be your family, your friends, your job, your home, or anything else that brings you joy. When you focus on the things you’re grateful for, you’ll start to see the world in a more positive light. I would suggest keeping a gratitude journal or making a positivity vision board. This will help keep you on track and remind you of the things you’re thankful for when you’re feeling down.

9. Be inclusive

Make an effort to include others and look for ways to bring people together. Bubbly personalities are inclusive and welcoming, and they make everyone feel like they’re part of the group. Host a party, start a club, or join an existing group. Once you’re involved, make an effort to get to know everyone and make them feel welcome.

10. Smile and laugh often

Bubbly people are known for their smiles and their laughter. They’re always quick to smile, and they’re not afraid to laugh out loud. If you want to be more bubbly, start by smiling and laughing more often. It’s contagious, and it will make you feel good in the process. So go ahead and let your smile shine, and don’t be afraid to laugh out loud. Listening to a funny podcast or watching a comedy show with a friend is a great way to get the laughs going.

11. Be curious

Extroverted people are naturally curious about the world around them. They’re always asking questions, and they’re always exploring the unknown. If you want to be more outgoing, start by being more curious. Ask people about their lives, their work, their families, and their interests. Explore new places, try new things, and learn as much as you can. The more curious you are, the more you will learn. Don’t be afraid to try that new restaurant or sign up for that art class.

12. Reduce your stress

Living a more positive lifestyle is difficult when you’re in a constant state of stress. Start by simplifying your life and reducing the amount of stress in your life. Let go of the things that are holding you back, and make time for the things that matter most. Exercise, meditate, and spend time in nature. Do whatever you need to do to reduce your stress and live a more positive life.

Take a break from your work, your responsibilities, and your worries. Relax, and take some well-deserved time for yourself!

13. Practice meditation

I love meditation and I try to practice it daily whenever I can. In order to foster a more positive and mindful personality, it’s important to stay level-headed and not to let your emotions get the best of you. Meditation will help you find inner peace, and it will make you more calm and collected. There are also lots of specific meditations for positivity, which can really help shift your perspective.

14. Accept yourself

It’s important to accept yourself for who you are and be comfortable in your own skin. Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Work on your positivity and your confidence, and the rest will come naturally. If someone doesn’t value you for who you are, then they’re not worth your time. Accept yourself for who you are and stop comparing yourself to others.

I hope these tips help you on your journey to becoming a more bubbly and positive person. Just remember that it takes time and practice. The more you work on it, the easier it will become. Be patient with yourself, and enjoy the process.
